ABSTRACT

According to the three steps of teaching design, teaching practice and teaching reflection, the research group organized and implemented WeChat public platform to assist the teaching of the battlefield first aid course. Teaching design focused on three aspects: teaching content setting, learning process development and learning effect evaluation. Content setting highlighted the relevance of key content and knowledge points. The learning process emphasized two steps:teaching before class and internalizing in class . A variety of evaluation methods were used in teaching effect evaluation . Through investigation , interview and analysis of test results, it was shown that this new teaching method was generally accepted by experimental class students. Students in this class have generally improved their three core abilities and their test scores were also higher than those of the control class. This research provides fresh ideas and a useful example for the implementing WeChat public platform as an assist in the teaching of other courses in the military medical university. In addition, the research group believe that in-depth research and discussions are still needed on how to effectively deal with such problems as the lack of diversification of contents in WeChat public platform.

ABSTRACT

The elements of the teaching system driven by the "Internet +" era are undergoing fundamental changes . Intelligent teaching platform is gradually becoming an important guarantee of the reform of teaching system elements for educators while they are teaching. With the support of intelligent teaching platform, the elements of teaching system break through the limitation of classroom teaching, the traditional structure of teacher-centered is disintegrating, the individual roles of teachers and students are being reconstructed , the teaching content is greatly enriched , and the function of teaching media is becoming more and more intelligent. This thesis, which will take the learning support function of the WeChat Public Platform of "Medical History" as an example by drawing lessons from the reversed classroom teaching mode, carries out the mixed teaching model of Chinese Medical History course by three stages: pre-class autonomous learning, in-class knowledge perfection and after-class knowledge transfer. It will elaborate its overall influence on the elements of the teaching system of Chinese Medical History and its important technical support for the reform of classroom teaching structure.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the application effect of Case-Based Learning(CBL) teaching mode based on WeChat public platform in nursing practice teaching in operating room. Methods From July 2016 to June 2018, 132 nursing students in the operating room of Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University were selected as experimental subjects. They were randomly divided into the traditional teaching group (control group, from July 2016 to June 2017) and WeChat public platform combined with CBL group (experimental group, from July 2017 to June 2018 ). On the basis of traditional teaching and based on the WeChat public platform, the experimental group were sent the content of the CBL case based on the syllabus of the courses to students one week before the internship. At the end of the teaching, a theoretical written examination and skill operative quiz were performed to assess the effects of teaching and satisfaction of the subjective learning experience. Results The scores of the theoretical and basic skills of the experimental group were (42.33 ± 8.26) and (45.17 ± 6.79) points, respectively. The control group was (37.28 ± 7.70) and (39.23 ± 5.43) points, respectively. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (t=2.289 , 2.150, P<0.05). The overall satisfaction of the experimental group was 90.90% (60/66), and the overall satisfaction of the control group was 57.58% (38/66). The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2=6.339, P <0.05). Conclusions The WeChat public platform assisted CBL teaching model in the operating room nursing practice improved the learning efficiency, helped to deepen understanding, and can be adopted gradually in large teaching hospitals for clinical practical teaching of operation room for nursing students.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the advantages and characteristics of pathology experimental teaching based on WeChat public platform. Method Through the establishment ofhomogeneous pathol-ogy experiment platform—WeChat public platform, the students of clinical medicine major of Class 1 and 2 of Grade 2014 who participated in the pathological experiment course were divided into two groups. The experimental group (65 people) used the auxiliary teaching based on the WeChat public platform, and the control group (65 people) used the traditional teaching method. The students in the experimental group used the WeChat public platform in combination with pathology experimental teaching, pushing the experimental teaching by WeChat public platform, including the change of specimen and eye diseases under the micro-scope of typical pictures and videos, and at the same time pushing the typical disease image and the related text introduction, and auxiliary pathology experimental teaching. The effect of teaching was evaluated by student experimental examination and electronic questionnaire. The data were collated after the entry of SPSS 19.0, and the data comparison was performed by t test. Result The average score of the experimental group (14.80±0.24) was significantly higher than that of the traditional teaching group (13.79±0.33), and the difference was statistically significant (P=0.031). The experimental group students' evaluation on the learning of WeChat based public platform was higher than the control group's evaluation on traditional teaching in the aspects of learning interest, reducing learning pressure and feedback. Conclusion The application of WeChat public platform for the teaching of pathological experiments is feasible compared with the traditional teaching model and can improve the teaching effect effectively, and solve the problems of the pathology experiment teaching sample being insufficient or the teaching sample being not typical, which creates conditions for students to study independently and use specimens and pictures.

Methods Selecting 165 pairs of high-risk patients and their caregivers from the emergency department of pressure ulcers in the General Hospital of Chinese People′s Armed Police Forces, and they were divided into control group and experimental group by paired random method. There were 83 pairs in control group, and 82 pairs in experimental group. The control group gave oral education according to the traditional model, and adopted the way of telephone follow-up for continuous nursing. While the experimental group let patients and their family members follow the Wechat public account that specially developed on Wechat platform and get continuous nursing in new models to come true networking health education and communicate with patients and their family members by multi-dimensional nurse. After 3 months intervening, compared patients′quality of life, the care behavior of caregivers and acquisition of knowledge of pressure scores, the incidence of pressure ulcers, degree of satisfaction of high-risk patients and caregivers between the two groups. Results The psychological function score, social function score and quality of life score was respectively ( 67.61 ± 1.67), (58.60 ± 1.52), (50.41 ± 2.70) points in experimental group, and (63.21 ± 1.30), (53.23 ± 1.92), (45.83 ± 2.59) points in control group, the comparative difference of the two groups was statistically significant( t=-4.638,-4.930,-2.749, P0.05). The care behavior of caregivers score and pressure sores knowledge score was respectively (50.84 ± 1.92), (27.83 ± 1.48) points in experimental group, and (46.43 ± 2.40), (19.28 ± 1.31) points in control group, the comparative difference of the two groups was statistically significant (t=-3.192,-9.738, P<0.05 or 0.01). The incidence of pressure ulcers was 15.9%(13/82) in experimental group, significantly lower than that in control group (50.6%, 42/83), two groups was statistically significant (χ2=22.413, P<0.01). The satisfying degree and scores of patients or caregivers for follow-up form, nursing service attitude, follow-up content and the total score was respectively (24.83 ± 3.11), (24.10 ± 2.55), (25.03 ± 2.12), (76.23 ± 2.17) points in experimental group, and (18.34 ± 1.41), (17.41 ± 1.34), (19.85 ± 1.92), (63.25 ± 3.03) points in control group, the comparative difference between two groups had statistical significance (t=-7.797--4.061, all P<0.01). Conclusions Utilizing Wechat public platform continuity of care for patients at high risk of pressure ulcers can improve the patients quality of life, reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers, improve the efficient communication of nurses and patients, and enhance the degree of satisfaction of the patients.
